They serve options, such as Filet Mignon, Delmonico, Tomahawk, New York Steak Strip, Beef Short Rib, Prime Rib, and more. 

Once you select your cut of steak, you'll have several temperature options to ensure your steak is served exactly how you like it. These options include rare (cool red center), medium-rare (warm, rare center), medium (hot pink center), medium-well (slightly pink center), and well done. 

Black Sheep Social Club 

The Black Sheep Social Club is focused on pushing culinary boundaries while taking guests back to the comfort of their homes. When it comes to preparing steak, this restaurant does not fall short. If you want to try one of their mouth-watering steaks, be sure to head over there during dinner time. Their dinner menu consists of several steak entrees that are sure to satisfy your craving. 

Try their New York Strip, which includes a special-made steak de burgo sauce, house steak seasoning to elevate flavor, and seasoned vegetables served on the side. You can also try their Porterhouse T-Bone, offering guests a generous 18-oz T-bone steak paired with onion tanglers, BBQ steak sauce, and seasoned vegetables. 

If you're in the mood for Prime Rib, enjoy a 10-ounce hickory applewood smoked prime rib served with au jus and horseradish sauce. The restaurant only serves Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday, so be sure to plan accordingly. 

Midtown Reserve 

If you're looking for a simple but quality steakhouse in Cedar Rapids, Midtown Reserve is the place to go. Keep in mind, this steakhouse is reservation-only. So, it's best to plan ahead. Midtown Reserve offers fine dining, USDA prime steaks, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine list. Their steaks are sourced from Bravehart Foods — a company that prioritizes premium steaks rooted in sustainable practices. 

You'll find several prime steak options, including an 8-oz filet, 12-oz filet, 14-oz New York Strip, and 22-oz Bone-in Ribeye. There are also several steak enhancement options to complement your steak, including Bearnaise, Cajun rub, Gorgonzola crusted, mushrooms, and sauteed onions. 

The District CR 

If you're interested in enjoying a premium steak with a twist, then you'll need to take a visit to The District CR in Cedar Rapids. This restaurant is an Italian and Cajun-Creole restaurant that blends family traditions with Southern soul. At this time, The District CR only has two steak options, but their authentic recipes make this restaurant stand out and land a spot in our top 5. 

The District Strip offers guests a 12-oz New York strip steak, well-seasoned and grilled to perfection, topped with Cajun butter. Another option is the Cajun Ribeye, which is a 12-oz Ribeye steak perfectly grilled, super tender, and topped with Cajun butter.

Deemed one of the best American restaurants in Cedar Rapids, Citywalk Eatery offers unforgettable meals, handcrafted cocktails, and warm hospitality. Citywalk Eatery is known for its premium steaks, bold flavors, and refined technique. They offer several steak selections, including Delmonico, 8-oz Filet, and a 10-oz sirloin. Guests also have the option to choose from a variety of temperature options, including Pittsburg, Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, and Well Done. 

If by chance you're looking for a steak beyond well done, they even have a "You Ruined it!" option for each of their steaks. Citywalk Eatery has several dishes that pair well with their steaks. Dishes, such as Garlic Alfredo, Basil Pesto, and fresh salad, are common add-ons.
